My name is Bishop Bryan Mosser. I want to extend a warm welcome to all who come in contact with The Church of Saint Philip or who make this Church your spiritual home.
I am an independent bishop associated with The Home Temple; and I founded this online Church in 2022.
I received ordination into the priesthood and was consecrated an independent sacramental bishop by independent bishop, Lewis Keizer, Presiding Bishop of the Home Temple Synod of Bishops.
My Story
I became a Postulant of The Home Temple Holy Orders Program in July of 2020 and was ordained into the priesthood in 2022 and subsequently consecrated an independent sacramental bishop in 2023 by Bishop Lewis Keizer.
I desired to enter the Independent Priesthood with Apostolic Succession so that I could share the authentic teachings of the Master Jesus (Mar Yeshua) with the public in a meaningful, sacramental way free of dogma, creeds, forced beliefs, and distorted teachings which were meant to control humanity -- not free it.
As a priest, I am not an intermediate between God and the church community. I facilitate the liturgy (liturgy means "the people's work") for the community which is a mystical work for experiencing true communion with the Master Jesus (Mar Yeshua) and the Abba, the Father-Mother God.
As a nonprofessional priest, I do not charge for Sacraments -- this includes Marriage, Divine Memorials (Funerals), Baptisms, etc. If you wish to schedule a live Sacrament of this kind, please email me at thechurchofsaintphilip@gmail.com and I will be happy to let you know how this works. Dates should be planned months ahead of time when possible -- with the exception of funerals, of course.
